Plastic is already a global problem and its getting worse. Our oceans are filling up with plastic and it's one of the biggest dangers to our marine biology. It pollutes beaches all over the world and it will linger for 1000's of years.
We believe in recycling all our plastic containers and strive to reduce our impact more every year. We use reusable bulk totes when we can to reduce plastic even further
The 2016 USDA Farm bill paved the way for industrial hemp production and Nebraska Dept. of Ag just received the go ahead from the USDA to start approving licensed growers in Nebraska.
The possibilities of hemp are nearly endless. Paper, plastic, bio-fuels, oil, food supplement, fiber, hempcrete, building materials, CBD oils, and more. We are going to invest in hemp and promote it because we feel that hemp can clean our planet up, replace toxic products, save trees, remediate soils, and more. It will also help bring money back to rural Nebraska's small communities.
We can improve turf by reducing fertilizer inputs. It's not simple, but reducing nitrogen can help sustain availability of other nutrients because reducing the rate of growth by the plants means it won't consumer more nutrients from the soil than it needs.
Premium liquid slow release nitrogen will stay in the soil longer than poly coated urea that means less leaching and reduced inputs.
By utilizing humic acid and bio char we can also improve the soil's ability to make nutrients more available to the plant.
Pesticides are getting safer all the time. Low use rates, chemistry that makes them effective to very specific pests and safer for non target organisms.
We want to be safe ourselves and take our personally health serious. We will never apply pesticides to your lawn that aren't completely safe for you family and your pets.
Bees are arguably one the most important living organisms on the planet. Without bees plants would not be pollinated and life on our planet would be very hard to maintain if at all.
There is a lot of research indicating that the wide usage of neonicotinoid pesticides has been cited as a major factor in the decline of honey bees. This is the most widely used chemical in the turf industry as well as commercial agriculture. We would like to stop using it but we cannot stop taking care of grubs or we would be out of business.
There is one and only one product on the market right now that is 100% safe for bees as well as all other mammals and it is even more effective in controlling grubs as well as other insects we currency can't control such as billbugs with the product we are currently using.
The only drawback to using this new chemistry is price. It costs 8X what our current product costs. That would add $10-$20 per year for the lawn care treatment program on an average home lawn. That's why we want to hear from you. We want to know if you think the bees re worth it. I think they are but need to make educated and informed decision as a team!
